Thumper
I think we can all see whats going to happen here. Why not start hanging around in the right casinos? You'd pretty quickly be in line for the job if you played your cards right by the sound of things.
HEED
I would describe Jonas as unorthodox. He seems so uncomfortable with the ball, he isn't particularly fast or really skilful but he goes past players quite well through close control and persistence. It's as if the opposition expect him to go at them at pace. As pointed out he and Enrique have a good partnership. I got told that Hibs are supposedly after Alan Smith. I'd class Enrique, Carrol and Barton as top 7/8 of the EPL. Colocinni, Jonas, Nolan and Tiote (I think I may be being harsh on him) as mid-table looking up. Ameobi, Taylor, Campbell and possibly Routledge lower EPL. And then you have the likes of Simpson, Perch, Best, Lovenkrands, Krul as Championship. Yip, i have heard that from a mate that works at a fitness centre in Edinburgh that Hibs have been using and he assures me that Smith has been training with them. Savage Henry
They've only given him a five and half year contract! 2016? Really? What are the chances of him seeing the end of the season let alone 2016? Edited to add; something is playing up with my emoticons. I did however find the news much more hilarious than two lols would indicate. Here's a link. Grandad, We Love You

Adam
What a total shambles of a club. Who offers anyone a five and a half deal these days? He must be on peanuts, surely? Ashley isn't stupid enough to give him a good wage then have to offer a massive pay off if they want to chuck him, is he?

I'm amazed Ashley became so rich in the first place as he's an idiot.

HEED
I'm lost for words....from now on I am refusing to Watch, Support & Buy anything Newcastle whilst that fat cockney p***k is running the club! It's not fantasy football he's playing, how can you possibly justify a 5 1/2 year contract to a bombscare of a Manager. R.I.P Newcastle United. Savage Henry
Paul Tisdale?! I always laugh when these rumours come out. Although Ashley's a complete buffoon, there's no way he'd do something like that. And even if he did, there's no way it would be leaked to a bunch of people on the interweb. dubs
In the last 5 and a half years Newcastle have had 7 different managers. But I'm sure it was all gearing towards Alan Pardew.
Cowden til i die
Good to see Ashley and co helping out a mate in Pardew, nice wee pay day for him when he gets the boot. Joke of a club.
StewartyMac
The good news is that if he manages to stay till the end of his contract, the skunks will be in the Conference, so it's all good. Newcastle

The Master
A protest against Mike Ashley at 3pm "during the Newcastle v Liverpool game". http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_183274758354682 Would that be the same Newcastle v Liverpool game that kicks off at 5.30pm? I do hope it involves walking from the pub to the ground. That's the best form of protest.
H_B
I do hope it involves walking from the pub to the ground. That's the best form of protest. They should wear different coloured scarfs. That really shows owners who is boss....
DomDom
My favourite protest is the one when people actually pay their money into the ground and then turn their back on the game.
