Eight Greens?

Unfair foxy. I've read the transport committee papers in the parliament and Patrick Harvie actually does a really good job there.

I've no idea what another 7 might do, but hopefully one of them might be a bohemian hippychick type.

Just watched Paxmans interview with Salmond, seems pretty confident and very competent.

"listen to the argument then you can patronise it afterwards"

Did you apologise to Reynard?

It's not unfair. They are socialists trying to use a Trojan horse method. Fucking c***s.

And no doubt some right naive hippy chicks will think they are saving the planet by voting for them

And yes, they will probably be quite good in bed. It would be far easier just hanging around the art school and pretending you gave a shit about paintings and stuff. dry.gif

No of course he didn't.

Nobody likes to admit that they made a howling c**t of themselves though. And the poor wee teuchter made a rip roaring c**t of himself. dry.gif

If I was a grassing b*****d like Scampy or some of the other creeps I would have reported him to a mod.

Saw a few nuggets in that Scotsman articles comments. Most interesting is the turnover from labour to snp in the central belt.

Sunday Mail Poll by Progressive Scottish Opinion  constituency vote SNP 46% Labour 36% Tories 9%, Lib Dems 6%

In the regional list vote the SNP leads by 38% to Labour`s 37%,

Deducting a couple of percentage points from the Sun data indicates the following constituencies will fall from Labour Control with Eastwood potentially going Conservative and Airdrie/Shotts, Clydesdale, Cumbernauld, Dumbarton, Dunfermline West, East Kilbride, East Lothian, Edinburgh Central, Edinburgh North, Edinburgh South, Falkirk East, Glasgow Kelvin, Kirkaldy, Linlithgow, Midlothian, Orkney, Shetland and Renfrewshire all falling to Alex Salmond’s party.

By applying the above results the “swing seats” play out as follows:

Aberdeen Central Labour to SNP Lewis MacDonald

Aberdeen South Liberal Democrat to SNP Nicol Stephen

Aberdeenshire West Liberal Democrat to SNP Mike Rumbles

Caithness Liberal Democrat to SNP Jamie Stone

Dunfermline West Liberal Democrat to Labour Jim Tolson

Edinburgh South Liberal Democrat to Labour Mike Pringle

Edinburgh West Liberal Democrat to SNP Margaret Smith

Fife North East Liberal Democrat to SNP Iain Smith

Ross, Skye and Inverness West Liberal Democrat to SNP John Farquhar Munro (retiring)

Tweeddale, Etterick and Lauderdale Liberal Democrat to SNP Jeremy Purvis

Then we have the seats newly in play, or those above that might change hands to another party depending upon the break in the former Lib Dem vote. Party activists redoubling their efforts as they push tired and overtaxed resources towards May 5th might just sleep with a smile that night if fortunate in the following areas. The amount of projected extra votes needed is in square brackets. With a direct vote change of allegiance the quantity is in curved brackets, where applicable. The incumbent in peril is then listed. This data still treats the Sun poll as an anomaly.

Airdrie and Shotts Labour to SNP [464] (233) Karen Whitefield

Cumbernauld Labour to SNP [1048] (525) Cathie Cragie

Dumbarton Labour to SNP [542] (223) Jackie Baillie

Dunfermline West Labour to SNP [934] (468) Helen Eadie

East Kilbride Labour to SNP [639] (320) Andy Kerr

East Lothian Labour to SNP [1,193] (597) Iain Gray

Edinburgh Central Labour to SNP [517] (259) Sarah Boyack

Falkirk East Labour to SNP [764] (358) Cathy Peattie

Glasgow Kelvin Labour to SNP [455] (228) Pauline McNeill

Linlithgow Labour to SNP [45] (23) Mary Mulligan

Midlothian Labour to SNP [754] (328) Rhona Brankin

Orkney Liberal Democrat to SNP [107] (54) Liam McArthur

Whether that's shite or not I thought it was interesting.

The only cunt I see here has a swastika symbol for an avatar and is abusive to those whose views differ from his own. Report for what exactly?

Some of us have jobs and a life away from their w**k sock.

You were provided with details back on the original thread where you made a twat of yourself. Go back to it, have a read and then apologise to me for being such a fucking moron.

I'm sorry you're such a fucking moron. The fact is you deliberately use the swastika as an avatar to provoke stupid people. The source of the image is irrelevant.

dry.gif

And it clearly works a treat.

If you think the source of the artwork itself doesn't matter then you are actually even more stupid than I first thought. Now get yourself to f**k and stop making a twat of yourself please.

Sunday Mail backpeddling today to the "We're losing but loads of people are undecided! Win them!" line. Which given the utter abortion that has been Labour's campaign and Gray's continued demolition by Salmond as a leader, hardly seems likely to succeed.

I also see the Mail's poll has a notional independence vote at 43% No and 33% Yes (with a majority wanting a referendum). If the Unionist campaign is as lacklustre as their challenges to Salmond at the moment, that could be comfortably overturned. That's why Wendy's 'bring it on' strategy was shelved: while Salmond stays they are shitting themselves at the thought of a direct campaign.

If the polls are to be believed and it translates in to actual votes on election day, then the SNP could have enough seats (if the Greens play nice) to get a referendum Bill through parliament and fek the Unionists!

Who would be the saviour of the Union then? Cameron? Clegg? Milliband? lol I can see Salmond wiping the floor with them also...

The SNP will not beat Labour ministers like Iain Gray or Jackie Baillie in their seats (expect Gray to see his majority go well up in fact) - while they must be fancying their chances in Lib Dem territory and holding out in the West coast it won't be an annihilation - some SNP bloggers suggesting as much.

Still another good poll but they need to stay focused Labour have their core vote waiting patiently for the 5th May.

Labour's internal polling suggests several of their shadow cabinet are in marginal constituency seats and could lose them come polling day.

According to some stuff in the papers today Labour think they are 'under the radar' and are concentrating on solidifying their core vote. Could be the case or they could be shitting it given their lacklustre campaign.

To be honest I thought that it would be very close but Labour have had a poor campaign. I honestly think that the SNP will have to lose it now. It's rapidly approaching the situation that Labour will only win if Salmond gets found in a hotel with a live boy or a dead hooker. Even then it'd be a close call.

I don't think Labour's core vote is much above 30% these days and they will struggle to attract any floating voters above that.

More likely Labour are focussing entirely on their core vote in the last week or so as they are uncertain of even holding that. Expect every scare story to be shouted from the roofstops by them over the next week. Negativity and fear will be the name of the game.
