Loco's For The League

Richie Taylor today won the championship for Huntly by scoring an equaliser in injury time at the end of the game. Fraserburgh had been winning 2-1 up until then and looked destined to take the title fight to the last day.

Thats Huntly's first League Title since 97-98 season.

Congratulations Huntly.

Miss the old rivalry with that lot.

Just glad to see anyone but Clach "elgin rejects" FC win it

Ive seen Elgin and Clach this season and on the evidence of what I saw the "elgin rejects" wouldve beaten the elgin class of 2004/05 :P

The sad thing is that both Ross and Mackay got more money from Clach than they did from Elgin. They turned down similar deals to stay with Elgin to goto a more lucrative Clach.

Which was very bad news for us, they were both excellent players, and are both badly missed.

Wed 4th May

Deveronvale 2 - 0 Keith

Huntly 0 - 2 Cove Rangers

And of course

Fort William 1 - 6 (six) Rothes :o:blink: B) :D:thumsup2:cheers

Not only have Rothes moved off the bottom, they can go above Fort William as well if the results go the right way.

Mon the Speysiders! B)

Yeah, I'm from Rothes originally and have always supported them. :)

Mike Grant is a good player. He got 2 last night. I believe the manager is planning to go with more local players next season (ie from Moray rather than Aberdeen), so there will be a few leaving Rothes in the summer.

Michael Ewan seems a class player, I hope we keep him!

Quality result, just a shame I was watching a 0-0 score bore at McD.

I hear Owen Coyle is lining up pre-season friendlys in the north east this summer ;)

Hopefully another Loco's v Saints clash is on the cards :D
