Guest Tarvie
Loco's win again and sit comfortably in the top section of the table Who's the real challengers and who do you think will win it this year
Waspie
Clach will be really dissapointed at blowing the 2-0 lead and only drawing with Huntly last week but I still think the Lillies are in a with a good chance. Poor result for Fraserburgh yesterday but a solid win for Locos in a tricky game. I predict the champions will be one of the following sides ; Fraserburgh, Clach, Huntly, Inverurie or Deveronvale. Loki
Fraserburgh 18 7 1 1 6 0 3 50 25 +25 40 Inverurie Locos 16 4 2 0 8 0 2 37 10 +27 38 Clachnacuddin 16 6 1 2 5 0 2 46 22 +24 34 Deveronvale 15 7 1 1 4 0 2 42 20 +22 34 Huntly 13 4 0 1 6 2 0 37 15 +22 32 Buckie Thistle 15 5 1 2 4 0 3 34 16 +18 28 I would imagine from that table the winners will come from Locos, Clach or Huntly. Huntly must be favourites after recent results including turning over Peterhead in the Scottish Cup. You can pretty much rule Buckie out, but any of the top 5 can still go on and win the league. Huntly having a stunning 5 games in hand will probably count against them, and the Locos still have to play Clach, where Clach will have a full team unlike the first game this season! An interesting race in a very entertaining league. It will be interesting if the game goes ahead of course to see the crowd that will be at Christie Park tomorrow. Pele Paterson returns to the club he made so dominant after the big teams exiled to the SFL. Forres who were unlucky last week against the Locos, will be looking to take some kind of result from the game.

Waspie
Felt a bit sorry for Fort William with that score, amateur outfit with bugger all resources compared to many in the Highland League and after showing some improvement this season that was a bad day for them. Great result for Loco's though and theyre in a strong position now. Still a long way to go though
Loki
I still have Fort William to win the league at the Handicap betting, they were given a massive 57pts! There still looking good for that. In all honesty it looks between Locos and Huntly now, if they win their games in hand.
Guest Tarvie
A last minute goal to win in Wick thats the type of luck you need to win the league
Waspie
A last minute goal to win in Wick thats the type of luck you need to win the league Or is a winner 4 minutes into injury time against the bottom of the league side just a lucky escape and evidence of the wheels coming of the Locos bandwagon? Lot of big games in February, lets see how things are at the end of the month.

The truth will be when we play Vale, Clach & Huntly. Still think we can do it
Guest Guinness_Alan
I think it will be between Inverurie and Huntly for the league, especially if the Locos win at Fraserburgh tomorrow. Huntly will overtake them if they win their games in hand though!

Guest Tarvie
Well now were top of the League and yes Huntly have the games in hand, bu twe have the points in the bag C'mon the Loc's
Waspie
If Clach were to win their two games in hand over Inverurie then beat them at Grant Street then they'd only be a point behind - the Lillies (and Deveronvale) are still in this title race!! Saturday might just mean the end of the Broch challenge though.

Saturday might just mean the end of the Broch challenge though. But again its a case of games in hand and not points in the bag. Have to agree that it aint over by a long shot, but realistically is down to 4 teams
