Air travel is the worst form of travel.
I hate everything about it.

Look at this utter Jeremy Hunt of a flight-

Direct flight? Sweet. If it had multiple layovers in the US, I’d agree with you, but that’s a pretty sweet flight in terms of avoiding jet lag, and connections at either end.

Anyone who'd prefer 10 hours on a bus to 10 hours on a plane being served food, drink and watching shite is OFTW.

To be fair, the food on planes is minging.

I agree with the main point of your argument though.

This isn’t actually correct, you lose much of your sense of taste when at higher altitudes which is why you perceive airline food to be pish when it’s really not.

I'm sure I read they fire a shitload of salt into airline food for this very reason or else it would taste as bland as a big bland thing.

Why do they go to such effort providing theoretically tasty food then? Should just hand out a load of plain bread to fill us up.

Rugby is shite (not the unpopular opinion) and I couldn't give a monkey's about it but I'm glad England won today (the unpopular opinion).

I work with a few Kiwis and the constant arrogance and sense of entitlement when they talk about the All Blacks would put England football commentators and Celtic fans to shame.

I work with two English guys who are into rugby and despite my best attempts to encourage them, are not interested in lording it over the Kiwis even though they would be absolutely insufferable if it was the other way around.

What's the point in winning against all the odds if you can't get it right up your opponents?

Not sure what's wrong with that. Personally I go for the later flights to get some sleep, that flight leaves a bit too early but does mean connections get you home earlier whereas you wouldn't be home particularly early but tired enough to hopefully get to bed on UK time again.

West Coast flights are literally miles better as the longer flight times mean the cabin lights are dimmed longer so you can get a good view hours sleep.
