'Haggis neeps and tatties' is an utterly shite dish; haggis when served in the form of a cooked breakfast (the natural home for all mashed up animal products in the world) or deep-fried as a haggis supper is tremendous. You could serve anything alongside 'neeps and tatties' - those two staples of the 'boil everything for 100 hours' school of old-timer Scottish cooking - and it would taste abysmal. And yet the culprits for this still got to cast their vote for Brexit.

People who would choose boiled and fried offal for breakfast over a freshly baked croissant with a selection of jam, cold meats and cheese and a bowl of strong milky coffee shouldn't be allowed to vote.

I live in a country that does have summer and it's horrid. I can't wait for it to be over.

Last week - the hottest week of the summer - was fairly uncomfortable on the Danube Riviera but it's now set to be 30 degrees and sunny pretty much every single day between now and October. As opposed to 15 degrees and pissing it down most of the time which I believe is still the current outlook for Scotland. The glorious three week spell that the country had earlier in the year should have educated everyone as to how great the rest of the world gets to feel during the best time of the year every year.

Winter is the second best time of the year while spring and autumn are a complete waste of time.

You choose to dance in nightclubs alone as a middle aged man, so your contribution to this debate is automatically null and void.

Never had neeps, but i do love tatties between two slices of bread with brown sauce.

How about both? The classic B&B breakfast.

Temperatures above 25 degrees Celsius are generally intolerable and people whose entire outlook on life is centred around exposing themselves to such for as much of the year as possible are wallopers.

Anyone who cares about breakfast enough to put the sort of effort into it welshbairn describes is equally peculiar.

Scottish summers are shite.
A total of 2 weeks of unpleasant 32C and 90% humidity mixed in with months of pishing rain.

If you have months of pishing rain, relative humidity would be higher than 90%.

However, I don't think RH 90% was achieved during our mini heatwave, it was quite a dry spell.
