Astounded to learn that journalists who work for the Daily Record may not at heart be very nice people. Staggering revelations.
That aside, you know what would be nice, instead of every time something happens with Rangers fans they just held their hands up and said ‘my bad’ and not went all manner of deflection. Rangers have a massive problem with bigotry and racism and should work to get rid of that instead of responding to every criticism with ‘look this is a bad thing too’. If you always do what you always did then you’ll always get what you always got.

Strange coming from a supporter out with the two.

Both are as bad as each other and you know it, but heh, please enter the pissing contest for bigots, that'll sort it!

What's strange?

A supposed neutral only pointing out the bigotry of one side, when both are as bad as each other.

Over the years when they come calling to my team, there isn't a hair's breath between them. From king billy on the one side and all that goes with that  to the glorification of the up the ra terrorists on the the other. It's shameless and no normal person wants to hear it.

Then we have the orange walks. On their own, possibly not such a big issue, but WTF that follows them is another matter.

Then we see the pre covid rise of paramilitary style republican marches by the other side, military uniforms and ski masks and all, along with their threatening banners declaring "We haven't gone away"!!

Now WTF has any of that got to do with Scotland and in this day and age? You actually think any of this is ok?

Many are guilty in the breeding of this hatred, along with those who appease any of it. Parents, politicians and media alike. Some need to get a fucking life. The sooner all of this is brought to an end, our offspring might just have a chance of a peaceful and normal future.  None of it has a place in a so called civil society.

Calm down.

If you don't believe that its a two way street and each are as bad as the other, then you are in denial and part of the problem.

The vast majority do not want either and be glad if both took their bigoted vitriol and fucked off to the moon.

Youre going to have to try and slobber that in English. I think, from reading your post that youre perhaps suggesting im part of the problem for identifying that Rangers have a problem?

to be fair, he makes his point quite clearly. you might not agree with his assertion but it's easily understandable.

I'm enjoying the accounts that said anyone filming folk on the bus singing racist songs was a grass or c**t and now the same accounts are dredging up tweets folk made when they were a child.

No rant, just all facts as you well know that neither side will give an inch to. . Being a Celtic supporter they'll be no glorification of the terrorist organisation that is commonly know as the ra at Celtic Park then or anywhere they visit? Go check your UEFA fines. No ski masked paramilitary republican marches through the streets of Glasgow peddling their hate right? No tarnishing the memory of the fallen in two world wars and so on?

We go as fans to support our football team of choice on the field of play, not to attend an event akin to a Nuremburg rally to spout ideological bigotry and bilious shite.

Great upbringing for the offspring right?

Only in the West of Scotland!

Just ignore it. It’s the oxygen of attention that keeps it alive.
