Surely the one you quoted is OK though? That comes across to me as pretty reasonable.

I can't imagine it's much fun to gave to deal with full on nitwits calling you a Nazi on a regular basis. Probably best to ignore them but if you're going to respond, that's a decent way to do it.

Owen Jones regularly stamps his little feet in a tantrummed protest whenever anyone disagrees with his particular brand of champagne socialism on twitter.

Typifies those that can't handle someone having a difference in opinion to them and who's only response is to try shout them down.

Dunfermline Athletic on Twitter sending their well wishes to an injured Falkirk player didn’t go as you’d expect. Unless you too are an utter mentalist.

Yep, the 8 replies on that tweet definitely has the world rocking.

The replies were actually to a Falkirk player who replied to the original tweet but has since had a change of heart and deleted his reply.

He didn't get called a Nazi.

The tweet he was replying to was a photoshopped Guardian headline of the article Owen wrote before the 2015 General Election about Russell Brand endorsing Labour.

This is the original article

After the endorsement of Brand turned out to mean absolutely SFA and Labour lost the election this became a meme.

Following the recent anti-Semitism story a number of charming individuals have given support for Jeremy Corbyn, including Nick Griffin.  In response to this the OP tweeted the following

No-one could seriously think that this is genuine.  It doesn't even look genuine.  To claim defamation for it is ridiculous.  To say that he's being accused of being a Nazi is ridiculous.

He's actually a decent interviewer when he does that but is the epitome of a narcissistic cry-bully on Twitter.

Owen Jones came out as bisexual originally, is he full on gay now? I remember he dramatically stormed off set on Sky news following the Orlando shootings telling the reporter that he wouldn’t understand the situation as he wasn’t gay.

Owen Jones was only responding to the information that he had at the time but it is now known that the attacker did pick the Pulse nightclub at random.  It is thought that he didn't know that Pulse was a gay nightclub.  https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/noor-salman-pulse-massacre-wrong_us_5ac29ebae4b04646b6454dc2

ah twitter.  Living in a narrow, cyber universe constantly looking for the one up over some other clone they've never met.   there's a reason nobody talks in "real life" about what political twitter interactions they've had.  because it's sad as ffuk.

most of the political twitter is polemic.  same as facebook, people wanting to stand out.  there's no nuance. The worst are the so called real journalists.  Twitter has outed them as just mere opinion makers like everyone else...and with their own agendas.

people put 5 / 10 /20 tweets a day.  Get a life.

some politicians think it helps them connect.  there's a few that it would be best if they didin't.  There's a councillor in Glasgow that is on twitter it seems from 8am - 12 at night (mhairi hunter).  what the hell do they do all day?

Dunno why but this reads as Kasabian lyrics to me.
