bullywee Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 I've got a tattoo of David Tanner on my thigh. I only had limited funds and it was a lot cheaper than the Jim Spence tattoo I had initially planned. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sergeant Wilson Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 Do find women with tattoos attractive. However I'm not keen on feet or lower leg tattoos (there's a lassie in Aberdeen that passes me on the way to work, full business suit and jacket, nice heels, great looking legs and then she spoils it with an ugly tattoo on her shin), nor am do I like tattoos that cover the neck, throat and upperchest. On tattoos in general, I do want tattoos, but stuck in the long and arduous usual decisions of: what do I want, where do I want it, where should I go to get it done? Still unsure about what I want or where to get it done. I do know that I'd prefer to have tattoos that are easy to cover. Do want a good job done but also don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it Get a swastika on your forehead. You won't regret it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~ Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 I honestly can't state how pathetic I find people who don't have tattoos, that get so worked up about people having tattoos! What difference does it make to you that someone has tattoos? I don't get worked up, I just think the majority of them look ridiculous Especially on the hand, knuckles or neck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Funky Nosejob Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 I wonder what imaginative cover-up this eejit ended up with? I've nothing against tattoos per se, but best waiting until you're at least 25. The things that are most important to you when you're 18 tend not to stay so for very long. EDIT: That tattoo annoys me because he has 94, 2010, 2014. f**k sake, at least have 1994 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
What about a Bankies tattoo? He's obviously had the 94 centered below the word CUP, so adding 19 would make it look offset. In IT speak, he's simply just not Y2K compliant. It's also apparent that he's waited until 2014 to have 2010 added, as the skin around both 2010 and 2014 is equally red. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Musketeer Gripweed Posted November 10, 2015 Share Posted November 10, 2015 Why are tattoo magazines packaged like porn magazines in some shops? I like buying them (tattoo magazines) when I get the bus home after a day drinking in Glasgow, but it's embarrassing taking a cellophane clad magazine to a counter in a bus station at my age. If I can get a hold of that magazine, I will, even if it means I have to go drinking in Glasgow against my will. Looking for some new ideas anyway. Savage Henry Posted November 11, 2015 Share Posted November 11, 2015 Will probably be discussed in your article, but are tattoos not considered haram in Islam? Yup. But it's also contrary to the bible as well. It just takes a bit more balls in an Islamic context, because there are some much more serious consequences. Just because something is haram, doesn't mean it doesn't happen openly. It is something I write about. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
I would never force beer upon anyone, but God bless you. Total Tattoo is one of the few that isn't cellophane wrapped. I'm the same. I feel like a 15 year old buying Loaded. I will need to buy your magazine as I just got a text from my niece, she is getting vouchers for a tattoo artist for my Christmas. That's how easy it is to buy for me these days. The tattoo magazines are, for some reason, usually located between Classic Rock and Star Wars Magazine. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Savage Henry Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Hello folks. Shameless self publicity. My article on tattooing in Iraq is in the February issue of Total Tattoo. It's my first professional article so here's hoping I've cornered a very niche market. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Savage Henry Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Have you considered covering other nations in the region like Iran or ISIS? It's a good idea. I'm planning on visiting ISIS in the summer, and you can get a tourist visa at the airport, so it makes a lot of sense. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
