Hearts fans going on about debt  A story by Daryl King in the Evening Times, I mean  I thought Rangers were supposed to be in administration by now? Not winning the league at a canter

The 108 million is in the accounts of Murray International Holdings. Easy enough to find and where was I lecturing. Hearts are fucked aswell, but our benefactor didnt lose 78% of his fortune last year and get his club taken over by the bank.

Rangers owe Murray International Holdings £108 million. The £30million being quoted is only the debt owed to Lloyds and really should be lumped together. £140million in debt.roflcopter.

There is no way Murray can afford to write that off anymore. Rangers are fucking fucked. Its very funny.

Murray lost £390 million last year alone, and his pyramid scheme posts their latest results later in the week.

Looks like the supercasino will have to be put on hold for a while.

The way this post, and indeed most of your others in this thread reek of utter desperation, and the overuse of smileys (wonder if theres a ratio people could draw up along the lines of "the more fucked rangers are, the more smileys IXI uses per post) in this post gives me joy in ways I can't even describe.

LOL @ Rangers

Partick Thistle are going to rot in the SFL 1 until they turn part time and then go bust. Enjoy. The fizzy pop league is that way ---------> :D

That's a matter for another thread, and even then the debt at Firhill is at least manageable, unlike the monstrous debts accrued by Rangers (which looks like it may even include a huge list of unpaid tax bills, if the OP's story turns out to be true); this thread is about the fact that Rangers are, by and large, completely and utterly fucked financially.

Keep deflecting if it takes your mind off the woes at Rangers, though, I'll just sit back and enjoy the fireworks.

A story about this being in the papers 2 days after Rangers win the league to make up for the fact they won't be selling many for a title run in or a dead rubber Celtic vs Rangers match

It's like you simpletons have crash landed on Earth and have just discovered the west coast Scottish mhedia

May be outdated, but its hard to see how his situation could possibly have improved recently.

Edited to add another interesting, slightly more recent, article:

If Rangers turn out to have massive tax bills due in addition to already owing about £31 million in debt, then who in their right mind would want to buy the club? Scotland's European seeding is steadily getting worse and worse, and given that Rangers will, inevitably, get embarrassed in next season's champions league group stages once they've been forced to sell/get rid of players like McGregor, Davis, Bougherra, Boyd (the SPL's top goalscorer of all time leaving on a free would be hilarious given he'd be Rangers most saleable asset otherwise  ) etc. etc., that's not likely to change anytime soon. Plus the SPL winners next season (and who would look past Celtic? Rangers have managed to win the title the past two years without signing players, which is impressive in a way, but now that the debt will force them to sell the crown jewels without the manager given the funds to replace them, its hard to see anything other than a Celtic win.) would have a playoff to make the group stages, not guaranteed by any means. And theres the question of who'll be in charge next year; Walter Smith leaving would be a major blow to any hopes of challenging for the SPL.

Rangers are fucked, one way or another.
