Bit of a minter for United fans to be celebrating Dundee going out the cup when you're getting pumped by teams like Falkirk and Morton in the Championship.

Is there a link to Morton pumping Dundee Unt and Dundee going out the cup in that same season or is it just a coincidence?

It was June 1796 that Mungo Park of Selkirk found the River Niger - the first European to reach the interior of Africa.

Dundee's win now sits closer in time to that event than to the present day.

Probably more significant, world-wide, than us winning a SC
