pozbaird
Gang of Youths later tonight at the Barras’. Discovered their music through an Aussie cousin of mine who knows one of the band. No idea what they’ll be like live… about to find out though.

Where are Lee Bains lll and the Glory Fires playing? South by Southwest. Probably should have mentioned. I’m pretty sure LB3 is the best live act on the planet.
underdogunderdog underdog
Fcuking fantastic, that’s what they were. [emoji41]Was at the gig too and up there with one of best gigs I've ever been to. Some stage presence all round.
cb_diamond
The Hold Steady at the Electric Ballroom was unreal, even better than 2020. Easily into my all time top 5 gigs list. Edited April 9, 2022 by cb_diamond

vikingTON
The Cribs at SWG3 last night. Very good for an hour and a bit set - I think it was wise of them to not kick the arse out of it, as they are very much a "does a couple of things well" type of act. Plus they probably got through about 34 songs anyway as they're all two minutes long.
Christophe
Cate Le Bon on Wednesday has been postponed until August now. Have picked up a ticket for Nilufer Yanya on Monday to fill the gap

KirkySuperSub
Going to see The Who at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Friday...I know they're not the band they once were, far from it, but every time they play, I expect it to be their last.

Squalor Vic
Saw The Mysterines at G2 last night. Been keen to see them since hearing their ep a couple years ago and with the new album just out there's a real buzz about them and I think they might be about to take off. Sold out show, really enjoyed them but think the singer (who has a tremendous voice incidentally) was struggling as they seemed to cut the show short by 15 mins or so
betting competition
A few days ago I watched Penguin Cafe at the Barbican which was really good. Yesterday to fill in stop gap before the Scotland match I went and watch Bodega at Mono. Bodega sounded good when I streamed their music but wow they are amazing live. Ronaldo Jeremy
The Coral at the Barrowlands last Saturday were very good. Logan's Close at the Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh this Sunday. Good, unsigned band with a 60s R&B vibe if you want to check them out.
