I posted something similar on Twitter yesterday. I like most of their early stuff and some of the later tunes but I genuinely have no idea how anyone could justify paying that price for them. They're also dull as dishwater live so it's not even as if you're paying for a spectacle.
Puffinmuncher
Last Hector Bizerk gig tomorrow night. Looking forward to it. Just heading back from that now. Was a great show. They'll be missed.

Ira Gaines
Remember when they played Reading and thought it was absolutely horrific and demanded that BBC don't show it as quickly as they could. They do look ridiculously dull live. I got tickets for Sum 41 at the Barrowlands which should be a cracking wee show.
mrcat1990
Arab Strap this evening. Cannot wait. The setlist they've played thus far is very sexy. Should be a stonker.
Dosser-fae-the-shire
Just heading back from that now. Was a great show. They'll be missed. Aye, it was a belter of a gig. Meats are still ringing.
mrcat1990
I got horribly drunk, danced to miserable Scottish indie and met Smurph off here. Arab Strap at the barras was a total success. Ps. I got my top off for Big Weekend. Nae rae regrets.
GrahamJags
Arab Strap were phenomenal last night. Considering getting a ticket for tonight as well.

Seems odd that they'd do a fairly lengthy English arena tour without a Scottish date in a place where they still have huge popularity. I'm reckoning a potential Bellahouston gig. They've just been announced to headline the Clyde 1 gig at the Hydro with Tom Odell.
The Minertaur
Sunset Sons last night at the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen. First time in there and was surprised by how small it was. Only saw 1 support (Jessarea or something like that!) who were alright. Sunset Sons were good - just a shame that the place was half empty and it was quite hard for them to generate much atmosphere. Still decent beer on tap so was a good night!

GrahamJags
Richmond Fontaine's last ever Scottish show tonight at the Caves. Never been there before so hopefully it's got a decent sound. Gutted that RF are calling it a day, though. Great band.

Dazzle
Booked up for Danny Brown and The Lafontaines in Novemeber, there's a spare ticket going about for The Courteeners as well if I decide to go.
Heart of Northern
Got tickets for Incognito . It's in a great wee venue that'll make it all the better.

Shame as there's been some alright bands up.
