Inspirals were on top form last night at Glasgow. Great set, good mix of their early garage stuff, biggest hits and a few new songs. The Happy Mondays will need to be on top of their game when they tour to avoid being upstaged by their support act.

Totally agree. Was apprehensive about Stephen Holt replacing Tom but thought that his voice suited what was a rougher Inspirals sound. Cant say the new stuff is on par with the old songs but the start of the gig with Commercial Rain and Joe was simply superb.

Down in London on Tuesday night and can't decide between Leyton Orient v Huddersfield or one of the many gigs on that night.

Shearwater, Low and Glasvegas all playing - think it'll be Shearwater if I choose music over football.

Was anyone at Cast on Friday night? Heard they were good.

Anyway got quite a few gigs coming up. Got Miles Kane in April, Reverend and the Makers and the Enemy in May, Noel Gallagher again in July at Edinburgh Castle, the View in July and the Belladrum Festival near the end of the summer.

Wasn't the Cast gig cancled cause John Power had Laryngitis? Might have been a different gig?

They didn't cancel Glasgow but the next 2 dates have been cancelled. John couldn't do the encore though so they had to get crowd members to get up and sing.
