He’s one of my favourite people, let alone live acts. Highly recommended if you are in search of some Alabama punk. Would have loved to go to that gig, unfortunately a junior cup semi final on the same night! Next gig is Louis Dunford at the QMU, really looking forward to seeing him!!

Craig fae the Vale
Monday night in the company of Blackberry Smoke. Quite simply outstanding. Non stop for two hours, superb musicians, one of the best live bands going. Also strong cardigan game from their guitarist. Support from the Read Southall Band, who were very good indeed as well.

They were absolutely on fire last night as were the crowd. Terrific stuff as per usual.
microdave
Aye, they were superb last night. Brilliant to see Brit on the drums with all his current health issues. A great way to spend a Monday evening.

cb_diamond
Melvins ticket booked for the garage. Let's see if they can top the earth shaking decidel count of their last visit at SWG3, which was easily the loudest gig I've ever been to.
BallochSonsFan
Not long back from The Courettes. An hour after the gig finished and my head is still buzzing. Flavia Couri is absolutely brilliant.

Savage Henry
Very tempted by The Boys With The Perpetual Nervousness, supported by US Highball, on the 13th, but I’ve got Lee Bains on the 14th and I don’t want to take two days off work. By which I mean I do, but I can’t afford it.

He was good i thought. I left a few songs early as was surrounded by some absolute arseholes talking and shouting the whole way through... hey ho maybe im just getting old and grumpy. Had moved about a bit but seemed to me trapped between the back of the bar queue and the side of the crowd. Being a tall c**t i feel bad about pushing too much in front of folk once it starts.
