If you think they are then you're not really getting how support band works. This. Vintage Trouble have supported both Bon Jovi and AC/DC on stadium tours in recent years, doesn't make them a stadium band. They probably aren't even big enough to sell out arenas!
Ira Gaines
Took the plunge on Korn and Limp Bizkit. Think it's the latter than I'm looking forward to more tbh. Limp Bizkit are essentially a nu metal nostalgia trip, but they're a fucking great one live.
WeAreElgin
Rancid aren't on there because someone thinks they're a stadium band. If you think they are then you're not really getting how support band works. Nothing to do with the stature of the band, just the thought of a punk band with the history of Rancid supporting an arena tour is amusing. I clearly haven't explained myself very well if you start going on about ACDC.
Ira Gaines
I'd suggest in that case that they've probably matured a bit.
WeAreElgin
Of course they have. At this stage they're basically a parody of themselves.

microdave
Alice Cooper's playing at the Hydro on 12th November next year. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am. This'll be his first Scottish gig in five years after his Usher Hall Halloween gig!
J_Stewart
Just been to see Frightened Rabbit. They really are a fucking amazing band, would thoroughly recommend seeing them in Glasgow this weekend if you can get your hands on a ticket. Phenomenal. Genuinely think they're the best band Scotland has ever produced.
Swordfishtrombone
I was at The Super Furries last night at The Usher Hall. They were brilliant despite some technical problems. It was great to hear songs live that I'd never heard them play at a gig before, my first Furries gig was when they were touring Guerilla, so hearing them play stuff like ' Gathering Moss' was excellent.

Miguel Sanchez
Three straight nights of Frabbit coming up and I'm fucking buzzing. Buzzing enough to not be raging when they inevitably play the same setlist every night bar 3/4 songs.
Ira Gaines
Korn can get fucked. I just walked. Shame as they were great at DL. Thought Limp were absolutely brilliant though.

Ira Gaines
It was very watery. Couldn't hack it. Especially after such an amazing Limp set.
