I have to ask myself "if I was in Sky's position would I really risk it?" And it just seems to me like the damage that could be done with a positive test for a guy like Wiggins, Froome or Porte would not be worth the short term rewards from winning a couple of Tour's & some other things along the way.

But what damage would actually be done to a huge corporation like Sky if one of their riders actually got caught? They'd spin it, blame/pay off the individual, and carry on making loadsa money.

Not sure about that. If a Dave Brailsford rider got caught doping it would be massive news.

how do you figure that out?

Is 6.37 W/kg not just about within the limits of human possibility?

Lance and Ulrich were push 7 W/kg to drag their heavier frames, (bearing in mind how Froome got down to his freakishly skinny 65kilos is another story), up on slower road bikes.

Not saying he's not doping, just that this result cannot be used as conclusive evidence that he is.

Race over. Yawn yawn yawn. All too predictable. Froome could win this by a stupidly large margin.

Might be a boring run in, but didn't find todays highlights boring.

Have never seen Bertie dropped like that.

you obviously don't understand what watts per kilo means. It makes bodyweight irrelevant. Do some reading.

Can you find out what kind of day the riders had before these records? It might have some bearing on their performance.

the 2001 stage was the 12th stage and the second high mountain stage.

The day before was a rest day and the day before that was a 32km TT.

What I mean is all too predictable and race now finished with the time gaps that have been created. Such a shame with the route that's in front of them.

Huge win for Froome, looks like the winner already, barring a crash or drugs revelations. Is he on drugs? I don't know - same as everyone else on this thread. But if all the top riders are, like some people would have you believe, then he's still the best by a long way.
