Not Pro Cycling related..

but a 'Tour D' Ecosse' and visits to our football grounds.

Popped up in podcasting app this morning,

The Cycling Podcast's Lionel Birnie and Simon Gill are attempting as above,

Gretna Prologue and first stage from Gretna to Castle Douglas out now..

It's part of their Explore podcasts.

You may enjoy, you may not but I'll follow it as some interesting side things going on as they travel...

(if wrong thread, Mr Mod, just toss this or delete thread)

Peter Sagan to leave the world tour at the end of the 23 season but still plans on competing in mountain biking.

Will be sad to see him go, probably my favourite ever cyclist. Hopefully he can go out with at least one big win.

Very difficult these days with the number of incredible young talents competing, especially when you are past your best. Maybe that's why he's decided to move to MTB.

Tom Pidcock really is the real deal isn't he? That's a sensational win at strade bianche

Must admit, I'd love to cycle through that throng before arriving at the finish line..

(not as pro speed I may add..)

He never seems to know what to say when interviewed..

plenty more to come....

Cracking finish to Milano San Remo, with a mega-group of Pogacar, Ganna, Van Aert and Van Der Poel going clear on the Poggio.  Van Der Poel then smashed them all from near to top and the whole descent.
