Sam Bennett's move back to Bora not looking so good now.
Olympic Gold medallist, Matt Walls, looked silky, as he out sprinted a classy field, on paper, in Gran Piemonte. Could see his career ending pretty well decorated, as he's only 23.

Felt gutted for Masnada, in Lombardia, but glad to see Roglic finally run out of gas.
Pogacar timed his return to form, over the last week, to perfection though.

Reckon there's been a bit of that going around. Wout's season was probably about a fortnight too long. Getting a podium on the time trial was the last hurrah because he was burst by the end of the road race and Roubaix was brutal even for folk on a good day.

At least it's not really that long until the next round of classics.

I see Opi-Omi woman is in court tomorrow facing up to 15,000 Euro fine and one year in jail. I guess she might be getting made an example of for scenes we see mainly on the climbs, but she was daft enough to do it on a single track flat road.

Next year's Tour route is due for release this week, rumoured to include Alpe d'Huez & cobbled stage with the first 3 stages in Denmark. I think all the grand tours are starting in a foreign country next year. I follow a Pyrenees cycling accommodation page on twitter as i was hoping to go out there pre-covid times, they have a couple of videos of routes also rumoured to be included and look pretty spectacular.

I think in the end ASO sued her for €1 as a symbolic gesture. Is she an idiot? Absolutely. Does it merit jail time? No. I reckon she's probably faced the consequences in the public domain now.

Really looking forward to the Tour de France Femmes. A sprint up the Champs Elysses and a climb of La Planche de Belle Filles is a great first edition.
