Trouble brewing for Movistar at the Tour? Landa going, intent on winning. Whilst Quintana's expecting support from the full team. [emoji85]

That's not taking in to account whatever Valverde's doing!

Imo Movistar have cost themselves several of the grand tours by not declaring who the team leader was beforehand. Looks like they will be in a state again in France.

Nibali & his brother moving to Trek-Segafredo for 2020.

The allegations against Erzen are very serious - http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/bahrain-meridas-milan-erzen-under-uci-investigation-for-doping-links/

Bahrain-Merida may not survive so it's a smart move to go to team with an Italian sponsor.

Roglic to replace him?

"Many of the 32 Slovenian riders in the professional peloton have been helped in some way or another by Eržen, including current Giro d’Italiafavourite Primoz Roglic, who raced for Eržen’s Adria Mobil Continental team between 2013 and 2015 before moving to what is now Jumbo-Visma.

There are six Slovenian riders on the Bahrain-Merida roster, plus head sports director and former rider Goradz Stangelj, sports director and former rider Borut Bozic, team doctor Marjan Korsic, and other staff."

Chris Froome has broken his elbow and fractured ribs in addition to his broken right femur - http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/chris-froome-team-ineos-confirm-fractured-femur-and-elbow/. That's his season effectively over as his training schedule will be in tatters.

ETA - the BBC has added that he's got a broken hip too!  Chris is in intensive care and  it sounds very serious - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cycling/48617835. "We have had a look at his data, he went from 54km/h to a dead stop." :(

That doesn't sound good at all.

Apparently has regained consciousness & may be cheered by JJ Cobo's positive test from 2011, giving him another Vuelta win & becoming Britain's first GT winner.

Something about just slapping grand tour titles onto other folk years and years down the line just seems daft to me.
