Cracking wee car though I was fortunate that it's car that my parents use as well so I think they took out a new insurance policy which included me on it with Swinton (they usually use Swinton for insurance). I think it's down to about £1000 or thereabouts. Initially when I first tried to get insurance on my own I was told that £5000 would be the likely sum It's ridiculous costs and I swear that they just make up some of the car information. I have a neighbour in Inverness whose son-in-law is a mechanic and he bought a Megane. He was told by the insurance company that their records had it as a coupe despite the fact that there was nothing in the car to suggest that it was.
