I'm not out that often, usually don't have to wear a mask for longer than 20 minutes, when I am (very occasionally) in a shop.

If I'm just going to the dump Civic Amenity Recycling Facility I don't bother, I'm in the open air and there's nobody near me. Mind you I have a stash of masks in the glove compartment.

Jack works part time on a chicken farm, and has to strip off at the back door every night to get his clothes in the wash on pain of being thrown out of the house by his mother. (That might be a slight exaggeration.)

That’s fair enough. I wear a mask to the skip, but i have been very, very cautious about this from the start. I see other people there without one on and it doesn’t bother me, i get your point with it. I am the same, unless i am going on the treadmill when i get home, i am home, stripped and into the shower. (Enjoy your breakfast with that mental image in your heads folks) at the height of this, i must have had at least a few inches of alcohol gel on my skin per day as i was putting it on everytime i went into a ward.

Glad i didn’t smoke, because if anyone had lit up near me, i would have went up like mossmorran.

Why have Sainsburys even bothered to reply to those racists? And why does the paper not display who the racist Tweets are from? Get the twats named and shamed.

I'd have loved Sainsbury's to have initially responded with:-

"We are not apologising for our advert because we are not horrible racists. If our advert means 'certain' people won't shop in our stores then so be it.

Come shop at Sainsbury's. We don't have the lowest prices but racists refuse to shop here, so swings and roundabouts really"

The seethe would be incredible.

Doritos Stax launched by PepsiCo - betterRetailing

Utter, utter shite

£2.50 (!!!) for very flaky non-Doritos in a tube that says "Re-seal and use quickly after opening." that you can't reach into without breaking them after about a third of the way down

Avoid

Luckily I got them for £1 last week.

However, your scathing assessment still stands.

Soft as shite after about 20 seconds of being opened.

The modern world is pissing me off right now.

My wife is suggesting we get our 7 year old daughter an amazon echo dot for her room. Every instinct in my body is against it because i think they're so wanky, and I'm trying to keep my kids grounded and not addicted to tech.

But i want her to love music, and there doesn't seem to be any other way to make that happen. It's the way of the world but i want to wind back time and get her a cd player or a walkman.

If you want to her to be into music why not get her an instrument of some sort? At 7 she's the perfect age to start playing. You just need to put up with a racket for a few years but she could be a master by the time she's a teenager and you could retire early.

Or even better, get involved yourself and start a family band, just like Dicken Schrader and his kids Milah and Korben. They specialise in Depeche Mode covers. Started in 2010, they now play festivals and New York clubs.

Maybe I was reading too much into your avatar but I always assumed you and Jack were around the ages of Granpaw Broon and the Bairn. Quite surprised to find that Jack is old enough to have a job!

Jack's 20. However, one of his younger sisters could stand in for the Bairn, she even looks a bit like her. (And there's a reserve coming along behind her.)

I paid £1.50

Even if you didn't know what they were like, you'd need to be off your head to pay more than that.

I'd only just started primary school and remember hearing that Celine Dion song every time you went in a shop or turned on the TV.

I still start twitching whenever I hear that bloody song. However, if you thought her version was torture, just pray to the doGs that you never accidentally hear Kenny G’s effort.

From the Titanic's little-known TV lounge, presumably.

Who is it really?

I paid £1.50 as well.

At least with Pringles you can keep biscuits in the tube once you've eaten the crisps. What can you store in these things? Dairylea triangles?

International Men's Day tomorrow, then Trans Remembrance Day on Friday. All of this during Anti-Bullying Week, it's all go. I doubt I'll manage to fit in any work at all.

Are you protesting against all 3 of these movements?
