Doesn’t excuse it, but at least he apologised repeatedly claiming it was due to his addictions. Other musicians have done (and are still doing) as bad recently with no apologies. You can enjoy the music and totally disown the appalling actions of the musicians. He gave a big thumbs-up (which I obviously returned) as I drove past him.
