Spent regular weekends there in the late eighties to see a girlfriend working there, free flights, liked it but got introduced to loads of peopleso a bit different from touristing. They all say "What a budgie!" instead of "hullo" which was a bit odd.

Richmond used to always be good for full scale battles in the evenings as the locals and the Catterick lads didn't get on too well. Must admit I have been to more hellish places than Richmond though.
