After another hard day grafting at the coal face, I come home to find the next door neighbour seems to have installed an outdoor toilet.

Talk about shitting on your own doorstep.

That's great news. Some of us even have indoor toilets now.

Been sat in a little bar watching a guy spend over the last hour playing luggage jenga with his car. He still has to find room for his wife and two kids! He is now trying to fit in a kitchen sink basin filled with toilet rolls. He also has enough plastic bags to send Greenpeace into utter meltdown.

Reminds me of a mature student at my student halls. He was the dead spit of Jimmy Nail so we used to call him "Spender". But we were afraid to tell him this as he looked quite hard. Anyway one day one of us plucked up the courage to take to him and said "you look like Spender". He grinned and replied, not in a Geordie but in a thick Cornish accent "All moi friends call me that". Good guy.

The reason I mention "Spender" is that the last time I saw him he was leaving at the end of term and he had piled all his belongings into his Peugeot 105 with only the drivers seat being free of clutter. We wished him good luck on his long journey from Aberdeen to Cornwall and as he left he uttered the immortal words:

"If oi have to break suddenly, oi'm fooked!"

P.s. Salou is shite.
Get yourself down to the Corra Linn bar, you're obviously hanging out in the wrong places.

Spirit measures that make your eyes water. Good food at good prices. Pub quizzes are a great laugh. Paco the owner is a legend.

Love Salou.

Can tell. Been on yer phone for most of yer holiday 😉

Honestly mate, paid a few quid for this place and the food at Butlins is better. Hotel itself is nice enough but it is more geared towards the home market. Last week it was full of 16/17 year old Spanish schoolgirls, this week it is full of 12/13 year old Spanish schoolboys.

Live and learn though, should have done my homework better. Could be worse though, along the road is the full cockney sparrow, luvly jubbly, Del Boy, come and have a full English like you have been away from Blighty for years type of place.
