I've just been in a meeting where someone used the phrase "all off the southern".

I thought I was either going mental or the person in question is a complete moron. A colleague more familiar with the person who said it has confirmed that while the former may be true, the latter certainly is, and, yes, this person regularly says "all off the southern" instead of "all of a sudden".

He sounds like a right damp squid

Really sorry to hear that DA, you seem to have taken it amazingly well, don't be hard on yourself if you find something brings on allot of emotion. Been enjoying listening to you on the podcast 👍

What's this?

Smashing.

I see the Tescocunts have shoved the price of a 6 pack up to £1.25. A disc race.

And to think folk were complaining about not being able to get peppers!

Wanted to post this on another thread but it feels silly.

Our flights just got cancelled coming back from Tenerife for tomorrow, we're now staying another 2 nights. Need to sort out accommodation.

Is it weird that I would rather just come home than sit on the beach like my wife wants to? She's happy in the sun and going swimming whereas I'm actually sad and stressed a bit that I'm not going home. I hate the sun and today being our first beach day I've sat and started on the cans, reading,  before I got the notification.

Sounds like a stupid thing to be annoyed about, being on a sunny island for longer. I'd rather be getting back to work stuck in on Tuesday and to our cats.

I think I'm some kind of weirdo.

We (and you) know you’re a weirdo, you’re on P&B.

Understand fully about the disruption in the expected schedule, and the cats.

Came here to post that the number of people convicted of crimes due to DNA recovered from fag butts makes me wonder if New Zealand actually has a good idea in trying to stop smoking AND are smokers more likely to be criminals?

Nah, sitting about in the sun is absolute shite, IMO.

Less of the "getting stuck into work again" chat though. Weirdo.
