'70's, not long after introduction of VAT in April '73. My old man used to take me to the Wimpy in Jarnac Court (I think) in Dalkeith. Very exotic for an impressionable wee lad. Apparently the only exception to such a visit is a full decapitation, and without that they presume that there's a chance the person is alive, no matter how ridiculous the scenario.
