A Dandy Dons themed boat this year apparently.

No doubt it will sink or spontaneously combust.

"Hello, Jim? Dave Cormack here. The Aberdeen fans are sorry about your sacking and to help you unwind they've clubbed together for you to go on a Viking boat trip in Shetland ..."

I'm sure he is doing it all above board, like going to the hospital?

Is it that bad in the UK, some are getting cemo/rado round the back of the garages?

I am now halfway through my radiotherapy programme - 17 down, 16 to go!

"Right, I've been thinking." I said to the oncologist. "I'm not keen on radiotherapy or chemotherapy. At this stage I think it would be best to just let the disease take its natural course."
My wife's eyes filled with tears, "We should've discussed this together."

"My minds made up." I insisted.

"I think your wife is right." Said the consultant. "After all, she is the one with cancer."

Not bad at all. Each session only takes five minutes once I'm in position (ooh, er, Matron). Only side effect I've noticed this far is that I'm a bit tired by teatime but then I was like that before!

Fifteen sessions to go...

HMS Vanguard now a metaphor for the entire UK.  Wonder what glue they used........Gorilla ? EvoStik ? Flour & water ?

Was it a sub-standard repair?

If that is genuinely how a lot of dates go these days, then thank feck my winchin' days are long behind me.........

Perhaps appropriately, given all the strikes and general discontent at the moment, tonight's episode of the Simpsons on C4 is the magnificent "Last Exit to Springfield", where Homer becomes President of the Union.

I was standing on the picket line this morning like the little Trot I am and a well dressed older gent walked past muttering "nonsense" and "numpties".

DPB must have been in Edinburgh this morning I take it.
