Shandon could learn a thing or two from that boy.

Pressure was on earlier. High winds, huge long heavy ladder (that has left me bruised and battered on many occasions. Nice couple. Nice house. Me wrestling said ladder upwards without it toppling over onto any windows, people, pets etc.

Before it became trendy and w@nky Edinburgh second hand clothes emporium Armstrong's was always an interesting visit.

I went in there in the early 90s and they had a set of unusual uniforms in with the ex-Forces stuff. Turns out it was a set of uniforms from an Apprentice Boys Flute Band.

So many questions- had the band, er, disbanded? And who would buy a set of second hand flute band uniforms?

Yeah, I mean it’s not like any other bigoted unionist organisations have gone tits up in the past 10 years or so.

They had probably finished the apprenticeship and were now a fully qualified band

A blast from the past...

I prefer the screaming goat edition.

Fwiw, I still get that song stuck in my head whenever I see a dead badger on the roadside, or when recalling the time I ended up nose to nose with one inside a cave.

That'll be the pandemic officially over then, the Covid thread has been mercifully put down.
So if the secure ward had been closed, where are the Main Players going to end up?
If nothing else that thread meant you know where the mad bastàrds were. They could be fucking threads up all over the shop now..

This was in B&M. This dives to never before seen depths of shite. Truly fucking guggit.

Agreed. I bought this from there a month or two ago hoping it would be similar to the tremendous Subway south west sauce. Nope, it is absolutely fucking gantin.

I genuinely now feel bad that I didn't post about it before, and have let another unwitting consumer try this without warning. My sincere apologies.

Went to Edinburgh for a couple of days.  After a few months of walking maybe four or five miles a day at weekends we did 8.5 miles on Wednesday and 13.5 miles yesterday.  Noticing the impact today and realising that it’s probably best to work towards such an increase!
