It annoys me that every BBC football panel has a token women on it. It's the equivalent of having, wee Shug the left back for Auchenshoogle Under 18s giving us his views on the World Cup. Women's football is brutal I watched Scotland women's team in last Euros. Amateurish at best. The mistake is on the part of people who try to compare it to men's football.

So which one isn't a 'nation' and what is it then? I didn't say any of them weren't a nation - as I said I assumed (wrongly) you were querying the use of the word nation. The 3 British nations are Scotland, England and Wales.
DA Baracus
Why isn't Northern Ireland a British nation?
Brother Blades
Why isn't Northern Ireland a British nation?Historically Great Britain is the main island & NI is a part of the island of Ireland. The UK is Great Britain & Northern Ireland. So technically NI is not part of GB.

As far as I'm aware, GB is the mainland so includes Scotland, England and Wales only and the UK is GB plus Northern Ireland. Or, as the rest of the world thinks us, England.

NJ2
I am going private with healthcare and I feel like I’m cheating on thee NHS though - it was the NHS doctor that told me I would be better going private as it’d take months on the NHS (my consultation with the private specialist has been arranged today and I’m being seen in 2 weeks). Am I being stupid for feeling guilty? It’s also costing me a minimum of £200, most likely more.
Cerberus
Using UK tax payers money to build Wembley then selling the satdium off to "fund English grassroots football" is wanky behaviour but completely expected.
