Kris.
About 1cm of snow here in sunny Irvine. Also just heard all trains on the Ayrshire main line have been cancelled. I just measured out back, and it's 36cm in some places.

Kris.
And actually i should get it done today if I go in, its just a case of finding a computer with teh correct software, since only certain ones have CAD, well I hope to reort back later today with better news. Similar to my situation, I need to make use of Pro Tools for editing a podcast - only 6 fucking computers in the college have it! So even if the college was open, it's unlikely I'd even get to make use of the appropriate software.

magoo82
Nope. No bin lorries either. Snow days all over the place. Can't buy a loaf of bread or a pint of milk either. My local takeaway is doing a roaring trade this week. I've been there every night.
Ivo den Bieman
Just nipped out briefly to Tesco and another blizzard appeared from nowhere. South Street in Perth is like a morgue. Hardly any cars on the road. Tesco manager wifie moaning about only being in command of a "skeleton staff" and looking in desperate need of a Superkings. The only other time I've seen Perth that quiet is on New Year's Day, early in the morning. Weird.

Dee4Life1893
Just driven from Methil to Forfar and it was passable with care. 25mph all the way, took 2 hours. Don't know why I bothered as another guy from Kirkcaldy didn't manage/bother. Fucking tanking it down here again as well.

Disco Duck
2 feet of snow measured in my front garden (which is fairly sheltered) - glad I spent an hour digging my car out last night, only for it to be 6 inches under snow again this morning!
Karpaty
Decided last night not to go in, two trains an hour from Croy but stuff that to be told to go home again.
cowdenbeath
Anybody seen a postman this week?? I was thinking that this morning as I haven't had any post this week then when I was out I passed three of them within the space of 5 minutes and also a guy taking a bag out of a van and putting it in one of those box things the have for the posties on their route. Still no sign of one in my actual street mind.

Adam
I've had post every day this week. Our Postie must be dedicated as we have about a foot of snow on the pavements in the east end. Must give him a decent tip this Christmas.
