That sounds brilliant. I'm going to have to try that.

We have had one, a while ago now, but there was even a recipe book made, which I used to have somewhere on this PC, but I'm not sure I still do. I'll have a look for it. I agree, it's time for a recipe revival though.

I think it deserves another go.

If you find the book on your computer give me a shout. I quite fancy seeing other peoples cooking.

I shall share some of my own recipes too. :D

I've had a search and I don't seem to have it anymore. I never actually got it first time it was posted - someone else had to repost for me to get it, so I'm sure someone will still have a copy on their computer. I can't remember who though.

I've got it as pdf download but I've no idea how to attach that onto this thread.

After the big fry up yesterday morning, it's time for a light-bite.

Home made Chinese chicken noodle soup, Easy peasy to make.

2 Knorr chicken cubes.

4 chicken legs

3 tablespoons sweetcorn

1 portion Sharwoods fine egg noodles

fresh ginger

sesame oil(1-2 teaspoons)

shredded spring onion to garnish

(Mushrooms may be added if desired)

Method.

Boil chicken and strip meat from bones and shred/chop. Discard water.

Make cubes up as per instructions, plus a little extra water.

Chuck in very finely sliced ginger, chicken, sweetcorn and mushrooms(if desired).

Break dried noodles up and add. Simmer for 5 mins max.

Tip in sesame oil.

Serve, adding shredded spring onion as garnish.
