Dosser-fae-the-shire
It's meant to be superb done in the slow cooker. I did it ages ago. Can’t mind exact recipe but it was done in the slow cooker. It was lovely stuff. Might have another go this weekend.

Dosser-fae-the-shire
Forget the recipe and tell me a bit about your method thenI’m sure you have Google. Try “slow cooker donner meat”. Think it was lamb mince, garlic, salt, some herbs. Maybe breadcrumbs. Mash it all together and think it was chilled for a bit. Put in slow cooker. Apologies for this pathetic response.
spud131
Took advantage of Boris's eat out offer and went to Mamasan in Glasgow tonight. Had the Thai Sausage Bao Bun followed by the beef brisket masaman curry. It was sublime!

Was splendidYou got a recipe for the ox cheek? I've got some in the freezer but not entirely sure what do with them! (other than that they will need to be slow cooked).

Stick them on a bed of roughly chopped onions, carrots, thyme, a bayleaf, and celery after browning them off (fnaarrr). Add a pint of beef stock and 100mls of red wine and braise (covered with foil) for at least 3 hours at 180 celcius (non fan-assisted). Use the remaining stock for gravy. Honest_Man#1
Went to Tattu tonight. Don’t get me wrong it was very nice, but considering we only got 6 ‘small plates’ and a dessert to share (admittedly with a couple of cocktails and a bottle of wine) and it was £130, it’s ragingly overpriced for what it is.
