That doesn’t excite me. He was poor for pretty much the duration of last season.

In an interview he done a few months back it was clear he’s got lofty ambitions for his career. Absolutely nothing wrong with that but his play didn’t match his mouth.

I could be wrong but didn’t Spencer have ambitions of going back to the US and playing over there?

Yeah it was that interview. Nothing wrong with it and it just came through (to me at least) he felt he could play at a higher level.

He dilly dallied on signing last season and non committal again. We’ve Brown & Stanton who can play the combative midfield position with flair coming from Connolly, Easton & Ross. Add in Matthews at some point I don’t get anyone being super enthused about another year of Spencer after poor performances.

Happy if Murray is staying but what will get me buzzing is a proper striker.

Zero chance Hendry is coming back for this season. Let’s get excited about someone new without setting ourselves up for disappointment before something is even announced.

Tbh im not even setting myself for disappointment as I don’t expect it to happen it might just be either a new signing or it’s Season Ticket news

Whilst the Raith admin says we can’t afford it… why would he acknowledge it if we couldn’t?

Because it's patter and it'll get retweets.

If he doesn't get offers from down south, then Hendry will have his pick be from any of the bottom half of the Scottish Premiership.

I’ll take a guess at Josh Mullin. It was rumoured he’d agreed to join weeks ago so would make sense if it’s now being announced with Ayr out the play offs.

I just took a look at his twitter there (don’t take it as gospel or anything) but our directors Barrowman and Halliday have recently started following him on twitter and Mullin has started following the football club official page when he wasn’t a few weeks ago….. so you could be right but it feels very weird to do an article like that when he could potentially be off

Fucking hell Dundee must be even more of a car crash than we thought they were.

Anyway onwards, I'm expecting news about season tickets and possibly Spencer re signing this week.

He's the most overrated player in the squad. I don't get the hype around Spencer.

Everyone came after me with their pitchforks demanding I be hung for saying this. Now alot of you seem to have the same opinion...

What is this based on? And don't say "because we did before" 🤣

What’s it based on that we won’t signed him. Don’t see how folk can rule out him returning

Made an impact in better leagues than ours, had a very good loan spell at Tranmere, would be getting paid more than we'd likely be willing to offer at this level.

I haven't seen any evidence that we're not bringing back Kevin Nisbet, but it's definitely not happening.

Yes because we can’t afford Nisbet we can afford hendry 😂
