Salvo Montalbano
Not wanting to piss on anyone's chips, but I can't see the Police being too happy at away fans coming out the South Stand, then having to walk past home fans coming out the North Stand to get to the Beveridge Park where their supporters buses would be parked? There is often a chunk of away fans coming down the street, and besides the polis aren't exactly present on Pratt St. Now. We've got stewards with stop signs trying to prevent everyone getting run over at full time.

Zen Archer (Raconteur)
There are worse choke points at Scottish grounds, Brechin, Montrose, Forfar, Stranraer, Cowdenbeath, Stenhousemuir and Kelty come to mind.

True but none of those are Championship venues and when Dunfermline went to Cowdenbeath we had to go to the Chapel Street entrances rather than the main one by the Leisure Centre, and at Kelty away fans were at the Community centre end where the buses were, whereas home fans went in the Bath Street end.

You're surely not predicting any sort of bother the next time the Pars come to town are you? I thought the Pars' venom was exclusively aimed at Falkirk and as for the Rovers, we're just lovely people.

stevoraith
So we are the team that plays the least long-balls in the championship and Morton are the team that plays the most in Scottish football. Interesting stat that. Also interesting that the only team outwith the premier that play fewer long balls play McGlynn ball instead….

Scored Tuesday as one of a pair of forwards, was less in the match last Saturday when played wide, but looked promising the previous match as a sub for the last quarter or so. Edited to add following for a Rose match report: “…It was clear from the first whistle that the team were well up for the clash and after some promising play, the first real chance of the game came for Rose after 12 minutes. Annan forward Josh Galloway was dispossessed inside his own half and the ball was promptly fired into the feet of loanee Kieran Mitchell. The youngster readied himself and let fly from way out, but his fierce effort flew wide of the post... …Superb play – starting with a Mitchell flick out wide, some nimble footwork from Scott Gray and a well-placed lay-off from Stewart – allowed Hunter to blast a fierce strike goalward. Unfortunately, the spectacular effort flew over the crossbar. Not to worry, that second goal soon came, and Geo played a huge part in it. Excellent forward play from the midfield allowed Hunter to clip through a perfectly weighted lob through ball into the path of Mitchell, with the off-balance loanee making no mistake in slipping the ball underneath Fleming despite being under pressure from his persistent marker to grab his first Rose goal…” Edited October 11, 2022 by TxRover
