This is the only acceptable option if he does leave. Once Spencer is back Tait is going to be crucial in filling some of the void created by Vaughan's injury. Unless Hibs are offering something ludicrous like £500k (which they won't be) then there is absolutely no sense in selling him and leaving us one more down. Tait is 19 at the moment, but the time he's 23 or 24 he could be well worth a far bigger figure. If we're to sell him, get him to a club down south for a deal similar to Bowie. It would be an absolute sin after today's news if we decide to sell our best young prospect to a club with a loan deal they'll benefit from long term.
