And how were we supposed to earn more given we were controversially put into another division?
we earned as much as we could by winning the division we were papped into

Not saying you were supposed to earn any more but it sounds as though McCall is hinting that we're somehow throwing money at it because we're allegedly offering better wages than Partick.

In reality, the simple explanation is we're probably just allocating some unbudgeted prize money to our wage bill.

Also, McCall is a tw@t.

An interview with David McGurn in The Courier.

Of particular interest to me are his thoughts on Stephen Simmons. Not rated much by the fans, but that's yet another player that's praised his ability.

Great read, McGurn is a legend and I'm glad I got to see him pull off wonder save after wonder save. Whilst the triple save against Ayr gets a lot of plaudits his save away to Dunfermline (which led to our 2nd goal) was sublime. Another article on The Courier with Hendry - so nice to see the players saying such glowing things about the club. The way Hendry speaks about us and how much he loves/loved it here you just never know, might see him in a Rovers jersey next season.

Kieron Bowie finished the season 6th top scorer in the Under 18’s Premier League last season (North and South) with 15 goals. Seemed to be scoring for fun after an understandably slow start to the season. The players above and around him in the scoring charts are all strikers that have a lot of hype around them so he’s in good company (Only 2 goals behind Dane Scarlett who has had a few appearance for the Spurs first team this season).

The next step would be to establish himself in the under 23’s or go out on loan somewhere you’d imagine.

Great to see him doing so well, fantastic attitude and no shortage of talent. Hopefully he can continue to develop down there and make us a bit more money one day.
