I was shaking like a leaf whenever anything came his way as well.

I would honestly have substituted him after about 20 minutes that day.

Dropping McGurn for McNeil was the beginning of the end. The culmination of that disastrous decision was that day at EEP.

I didn’t really believe we would win the league that season, but we were so close by the time the derby came around that I went through to EEP. We went 1-0 up and I wondered if this was actually going to happen. Sadly it didn’t. Andy McNeil in goal didn’t help.

Its easy to make light of it, but that would have been our first trip back to the top league since 1997. While it was entertaining seeing the Pars get pumped, relegated and go bust, I’d still like to have made it back to the Premier League.

That tackle from big Marv against Stirling haha. Has to be the most brutal ever. Any footage of it?

Without a doubt the greatest tackle I've ever seen. Any footage of it would've been through the old website, and even then I'm sure the Rovers went out trolling where they only showed Marvin sprinting towards the ball before cutting it - the Stirling fans were an absolute frothing mess that night claiming Bell would be out for the rest of the season and that we'd cut it in order to hide how bad a tackle it was.

That season was the first year where I made it to every home game. Probably felt like the biggest change I've ever seen at the club in the space of 8 or so months going from getting gubbed by a Cowdenbeath team featuring Markus Paatelainen and Morgaro Gomis to end Dalziel's tenure to then have the professionalism of John McGlynn. The squad we started the season was completely different to the one we finished with. The Stirling fans were utterly tedious that year too and there were a good few who lapped it up substantially, which was understandable given it's one of their few periods of relevance. You don't see many of them posting nowadays on the forum now that they're in the doldrums.

The simmons dive happened in another game (pretty sure 12-13) you played the 2nd half with 9 after hill tried to strangle falkingham (a bookable offence apparently)  you hang on in and I remember being nervous that we somehow f**k being ahead against 9 men until very late on when husband scored to secure the win.

Two separate games that, I'm 99% positive that's the Simmons dive game, I don't think Simmons was playing with Rovers in 12/13, it was Walker who got sent off just before half time.

Husband scored a free kick, Cardle scored the second within minutes of the second half and Graham missed a good chance to equalise with 9 men, I dare say if he had we'd still be hearing about it now.

Fair fucks to him getting another premiership gig. Figured he'd had his go.

After signing Callum Smith from the Pars Hamilton have set the bar low for what constitutes a premiership player.
