It was the only home game I missed that season. I came home from holiday the day of the game but too late to attend. I remember putting on teletext and thinking we’d won one nil but then noticed loads of scorers on the next page. I had to wait ages for about 11 pages of teletext to change before I could look at the score again.

The next league game was Stirling Albion which was 0-0 in the pissing rain. Typical Rovers but at least we won the league that season.

It was one of the few games I missed too. I was in Ibiza when we humped them. Phoned a pal at home and was told what a great game it was. “Remember, how you said Brewster would score a Brazilian free-kick, well he did!”

Amazing effort from everyone. Well done! A little light an in otherwise dismal week.
Imagine if Alan Young and Drysdale were still at the club? Probably would've just said to void the league, boarded up the doors and said "Cannae stand in Corona's way, eh".

Probably would blamed the fans for the outbreak of COVID-19.

That team gives me an absolute hard-on.

Would you change it at all?

I would imagine as he gets older he might need pharmaceutical assistance to achieve the same condition.

If we had this team right now we’d be an established Premiership club

You had 8/11 of them at one point I'm sure and didn't get promoted from a very weak first division.
