Wonder where the £25k figure has come from

Think it's just an initial target. I'd imagine we will need more than that to keep

If we didn't fulfil the final fixtures I reckon at 4 home games, roughly 1500 crowd, say 10 quid a pop once concessions are taken into consideration then you are looking at 60k minimum before sponsorship comes into it.

Presumably we are expecting to fulfil those fixtures until told otherwise, so this target is a tide me over.

The “good news”, is the numbers are actually around 1,700, of which about 700 at £10 a pop because the rest are Season Tickets. So £7,000 x 4 is £28,000, or remarkably close to the £25,000 target.

Any financially trained individuals able to comment on what the Chancellor’s financial package and loans mean for the Rovers? Loans to all businesses on ‘good terms’, business rate cuts/freezes etc.

Guessing f*ck all.The reporters trying to get a straight answer from the Chancellor and Johnstone was laughable

Maxwell also said that if fixtures were to start in june. Then the players would need time to get them up to scratch so they would have to go back to heavy training etc around april/may time. It does seem that they want to see this season out to it’s conclusion no matter what. When? God knows.

The hope of a June finish to the football is just that-a hope. The virus may be much worse then unless there is a shutdown similar to those in many other countries.  We appear to lack staff,

facilities and protective equipment to deal with it. Much more testing will need to be done especially on medical staff to see if they can resume work. Let's hope the Govt. is on a steep

learning curve.

I don’t know for sure if football qualifies but what should’ve grabbed attention for every lower league football club is a £25k grant announced for all ‘leisure’ companies.

Loans are available and are government guaranteed but that isn’t new and nor is it a long-term solution (for anyone, not just Raith). Right now they’re scheduled to be paid back in a year. Tight turnaround, but if things get desperate it should keep the wolves from the door at least until next year.

Johnson and Sunak did their best to be as vague as possible so we’ll see in the next day or two if anything can be gleaned from a Raith perspective.
