Spoke to liam Buchanan at work today. He was laughing like f**k at bill Clarks comments about his legs going. Certainly looked after himself in pre season and probably still could have done a job for us.

Hope he came in at a decent time an not something outrageous like 15 minutes before you were due to close.

He can laugh all he likes, he hasn't got 90 mins in his legs these days and he knows it too.

Did anyone see that Matthew Knox signed for Brechin. Thought we weren't offering a deal because he was going " down south"....did he get lost on his way ? 🤣

Due to go down to England for a trial but Brechin offered him a contract first according to the Dundee Tully

You’re telling me you wouldn’t pick Brechin over Sunderland or Barnsley?

He's no great loss to us. Scored a good deflected goal against Spartans and generally looked innefectual.

He does have a little bit of skill and pace but has no idea how to use them. Good luck to the guy though. He helped us out pre season and similarly we got him fit so he could sign that lucrative deal with erm Brechin.

Are you playing a youth in goal tomorrow?! It's gonna be a hard fought game as we aren't exactly a free scoring team with only Andrew Nelson posing a genuine striker's threat. I suspect we'll play 3-5-2 tomorrow and try and dominate possession. Bit tin pot if the Witch is on holiday - Was looking forward to seeing him. Vaughan injured again?

Munro is a young keeper but I’ve seen him play for us in pre season and once previously for Ross County and he’s looked decent, tipped for a big future. Think he is still a teenager. Couldn’t give a f**k if it’s “tin pot” really, he’s a part time player with a job at a collage and clearly finding a time for a holiday with both his job commitments is no easy feat, ‘Geordie’ will be fine covering for a couple of games.

Looked at your squad there and you do appear to be stronger at the back but as you say light on options in attack. We look strongest in midfield, I’d say, could be a decent wee battle for possession there. Surprised Cammy Kerr is still slumming it out with you though, thought he’d have got a move by now, was certainly talked up for a big move a wee while ago.

Vaughan did his other ACL a week after scoring a hat trick against the Pars up on Brechin's tattie field in January. The same game saw Nisbet return from an injury.

We've got Ross Munro on loan from Ross County who played in goals during their challenge cup run last season. We won't have a sub keeper.

Still, we've had to cut our cloth appropriately over the last few years as our board don't want to default into administration, which would be peak tinpot material.
