I'm not saying it means anything in particular, but it's noteworthy. So what your saying is Mcglynn has made a c**t of it? I'll wager at the final whistle on Saturday you were furiously typing to your clique on P&B look at those nasty people being aggressive towards our manager boohoo!!
JAR
I think that we owe the manager more time to find & develop his team. That said we can be critical of selections, formations & tactics when necessary. I think that most recent Rovers teams have had a very gentle reception from the fans when their performance has been lacking. It may benefit them to know when we expect more from them collectively.

That was absolutely nothing compared to the atmosphere at the end of:- The Morton game in February 2017.( Locke’s last game) The end of the Brechin playoff second leg.( Yogi’s last game) The end of the Alloa playoff second leg. A lot of the games towards the end of Grant Murray’s reign. The atmosphere at the end of the game on Saturday would have been far, far worse if the majority of the fans had turned against him. They haven’t. He will still be here next season regardless of what happens between now and May 19th.

Rovers_Lad
There was very few fans left in the ground at the end hence the poor rendition of booing .Most had left in disgust by the final whistle

I’ve also accepted the fact that McGlynn will be here next season with his own team. I’ll judge him then. I won’t judge him with Barry Smiths team. Has he made plenty of mistakes? Of course. Which manager doesn’t?

I remember in a thread once, you posted you hadn’t been to an away game since January 2017. You’ve been called a part time fan on here before, only wanting to join in. In terms of away games I am a total part-timer. I suppose in terms of play-off games I am too. I’ve went to 8 away games over the past three seasons. In terms of home games I usually make about 2/3 of them.

raith1974
I keep reading that its Barry Smith's team but if John McGlynn was in charge last May he would have kept Davo, Benedictis, Murray, Matthew's and obviously would have kept Vaughan. He would have jumped at the chance to sign Gillespie and no one can say that Thomson and Nisbet aren't good signings for this level. That's 8 players not leaving him much to play with budget wise . Perhaps Duggan, Wedderburn and Flannigan would have been replaced with 3 different players and he may have brought in a right back.

That doesn't automatically guarantee that McGlynn will go the same way on his return. On the unfortunate assumption that we don't go up, the fairest thing the board can do is let McGlynn rectify this season's defects for a blast at the title next season. If we're still as bad, I'll happily join you in your criticism.
