mojito
Well as far as weekends go that was a pretty decent one for the Rovers. Picked up a very capable goalkeeper then horsed Hibs out the cup.
Enigma
Hopefully this result give us the confidence to string a few results together in the league. Don't think Laidlaw should be dropped on today's performance.

RoversMad
Despite losing two goals, Ross was top drawer today. This!Did you see Ross's face after he saved that point blank one in the opening minutes? Like he was thinking " holy shit! Here we go again boys..."
Ro Sham Bo
I would have advocated Robinson coming straight in for Laidlaw next week but it would be extremely harsh on Laidlaw after his performance today.
valleyblue64
if you've got any sense today tell's you your better without elliott diving looking for fouls/penalties rather than make a chance for a team-mate
Wardy
Laidlaw was quality. All the players deserve massive praise today though. Great result, which hopefully transpires into some good league form too now!
Scary Bear
Laidlaw was quality. All the players deserve massive praise today though. Great result, which hopefully transpires into some good league form too now! My only concern about the result yesterday is that it takes the players eyes off the league campaign. Now they have a final against (The) Rangers and a Scottish Cup Quarter-final to look forward to. We rally need some wins in the February league games.

Scary Bear
My only concern, is we are running out of central defenders. Congrats on the new arrival Anyone can play centre half. Stick Smith there; he's never a forward. Cheers, now got a wee boy to go with the two wee girls. He had better hope we move away. If not he's stuck with the Rovers.
Wardy
I think Murray should just stick Thomson in at centre half. His stronger attributes suit playing there anyway. He isint afraid to get stuck in, goes for headers and likes a good punt. Obviously he can run with the ball as well. Hope Dougie is ok, but imagine he was just knackered?

Careful where you move to, my boys Rovers daft, then again his local option was Ayr United.
Martin
Murray is going to have a tough choice in making the call of which keeper to play against Hamilton next week, Laidlaws performance yesterday certainly merits a place in the starting line up. Personally I wouldn't drop him yet.

Distant Doonhamer
Great result yesterday. looked like a great day out. Best of luck in the next round. Lee Robinson a great signing. Quiet man off the pitch and as mad as a box of frogs on it. Great keeper for us. Edited February 9, 2014 by Distant Doonhamer
