Agree.  Hate that cup.  Injury risks against lower league cloggers etc.  And no, I never went to any of the Guffy Cup finals as I am no hypocrite.

You're arguably an erse, though. We don't win many cups. Those are hugely enjoyable days in our history.

Well then you missed one exceptional day and one hugely enjoyable one, but whatever floats your boat!

Good riddance.

That's one set of shysters seen off, but what's next? Hopefully these Scottish businessmen have a lot more about them, and preferably don't have sons playing in some footballing academy run by a 'Swiss marketing expert".

So, is he really saying that his "link" to Silverbear was that he happened go be in his pal's Restaurant, happened to overhear his conversation and then spoke to the lad on the other end (who he claims was Peter Chun) and said Rovers was a good club to buy.

That's it? f**k me.

I don't think they're the right people to get involved with. I think Mike has been unprofessional with the way he's gone about things.

Speaking to Fife Today, MacDonald said that a takeover by the investment firm, led by Peter Chun, would have a “huge impact”.

I was in the Annapurna last week, and will therefore be fronting a Nepalese takeover bid in the very near future.

I doubt Silverbear or Peter Chun will be too impressed either if that's actually what has happened here. I'm not an investment expert, but I'm pretty sure you don't go around saying you've got serious financial backing from someone on the basis of a phone call you have with someone in your mate's restaurant. Still, it's not our problem any more - thank god for that.

Does sound like the original comments were spot on though.
