The conversation over whether it would be worth binning McGlynn is the same now as it was a few weeks ago. Is any other (realistic) managerial option going to come in and secure a guaranteed playoff place, given the injuries etc. besetting the squad currently?

When McGlynn's system works, it works pretty fucking well. Injuries and individual loss of form have played a significant role.

I don't think there's anyone arguing McGlynn has every answer and should be under no pressure whatsoever, but whether you're still all in for McGlynn or think the time is right for a change, the summer is surely the time to do that?

No we won't find a manager that will guarantee a playoff spot but surely a change will at least give us a chance of making playoffs. The way we are going at the moment we have zero chance.

Seems like other teams have figured out his system and are stopping us playing with ease. We have not even had a real bad run of injuries this season. Everyone on here making out the loss of form is due to Spencers injury is in dreamland. He couldn't even get into the team on a regular basis when we had Hendry, Mathews and Tait at the club.

The thing is McGlynn went away got educated and brought this slick passing football back with him. We all loved it but knew there would be a point it wouldn't work. But we always had the old McGlynn shitfest hard to break down and able to grind out results in the back pocket. We don't even have shitfesting anymore.

The question around the CEO is not about who knew and who didn’t, it’s about why wasn’t the relationship declared up front so we all knew?  It’s because they had something to hide. Was always a disaster waiting to happen

TxRover must spend most of his life on here trying to think up some impressive insight that will meet with the approval of the usual gallery. What a sad existence.

You’re ranting again.

I'm also confident that Sim has no agenda and isn't looking to get his money back when he leaves unlike several previous board members.

John Sim may not want his money back but what about his family ? Care to enlighten us who they are ?

Sorry have I missed something are there many rich individuals out there waiting to take the club over. Last count there wasn't. People may be pissed with the BOD but without them there is likely to be no club. It needs people in the background who are willing to put money into it. I'm also confident that Sim has no agenda and isn't looking to get his money back when he leaves unlike several previous board members.

What gives you the confidence that either Sim or his relatives won’t look to recoup at least some of his investment? Is he going to just hand the club over? To who? Does that include the stadium?

This idea that folk like Morgan and Sinton have stumped up massive sums to save the club is nonsense. Sim is the financial clout and the rest are just his ‘yes’ men.

Very different to when you had Mario Caira, Turnbull Hutton and Val’s input on the board.

Morgan has put in money as far as I know.

Morgan paid the players wages out his own pocket during a time we had very limited cash flow. There’s enough to slate them for without making things up.

We have some horrible fans. Does anyone really think that any of our board a bad people? Does anyone think any of our board are at the club to make personal gain? Does anyone think they are on the board as they want to make a slight difference to how the club is run not just for now but in the future.

I have it on good authority someone previously connected to the club that Sim whats to leave a legacy, he wants to put things in place at the club so they aren't sufficient in only gate receipts and handouts. He has no interest in taking anything back when he calls it a day. He is prepared to spend 2 mil of his own money to do this. You can choose to believe that he has other intentions but all these folk running our club are not crooks, their not in it to get money out of the club. Please be careful what you wish for as we could end up with Glasgow gangsters back in charge.

Only need to look at the Murrells if anybody wants to see a disaster

Still if they were directors we'd be 600k up

A great legacy would be a track record of listening to your customers.

No one will make money out of football at this level, and if anyone thinks they can, they are off their trolley.

Who has casted aspersions that the board are in it for personal gain? Please be very specific in your response.

The board are being rightly condemned for their part in a transfer which:

1) Caused the club to be fiercely condemned domestically, brought a horrendous amount of negative attention on the club and was reported on CNN. They made worldwide headlines out of fhis sorry episode.

2) Has cost the club a lot of money. £50k transfer fee, c£150k in wages and has seen us requiring a new shirt sponsor. All for a player that *will not kick a single ball for the club*

No-one has said they are bad people; they made a terrible decision that has brought harm onto the club and they ought to be accountable for that. Instead, they are in hiding and thought the Manager and club captain should be the ones receiving questions on the matter. They are shirking accountability. I don't think this makes someone evil, but it lowers my opinion of them.

As for Sim, I will ask again: who has said his intentions are bad? It is clear he has a vision, but as it stands a decision he has made monumentally backfired and will cost the club a lot of money to put right. Moreover, the club is insolvent - the only thing stopping us from bankruptcy is that c£800k is owed to directors that haven't called it in. He may well be trying to put innplace a structure for the club to sustain itself but it is not looking good at the moment. And are we sure when he is "gone" that such money won't be called in? Is he in sufficient control of planning this eventuality that events will not supplant his wishes?

Well, yes.

They signed a rapist, then doubled down on it, if it wasn't for your fans and volunteers he'd be playing for Raith Rovers.
