Regarding Scottish cup TV money I’m sure Spfl clubs voted to reduce the amount each team received due to so called lesser teams hitting the jackpot when drawn against SPL clubs this was seen as an unfair advantage financially especially against the old firm if they were drawn against Albion rovers say as this would effect attendances .I think now each team gets approx 30k each plus half the gate minus expenses on top of this you get prize money for each round you manage to get through so going by previous years rovers will make another 30 k , I think the late kick off might go in rovers favour as celtic fans will make a day out of it on the peeve an early start finished off with a game oh football

There’ll be more than 20,000 there was 26,000 at the league cup and that was a Thursday night with no away fans. It’ll be over 30,000 for a Sunday game.

Cant recall the official  attendance ever given for the league cup game.

Pretty sure tv money goes into a big pot then shared between clubs so nothing extra for being on TV.

alan temple from the courier saying clubs used to get £40,000 for TV games but that has increased now, anyway it’s the best draw for us financially and will definitely be celebrated in the boardroom. If we could pull of a shock as well😜

The majority of TV money goes into the bigger pot but clubs did  receive payment for televised games. It used to be 82k ish but clubs voted to reduce it to 32k ish when the games were covered by Sky and BBC

A few years back a 20mill six year deal was then brokered for BBC and Premier Sports coverage of SC

Yes and the physio said 6 weeks.Varians been out for 2 so far

Correct, and the manager said it was pessimistic from the physio at the time of the injury and that Varian might be ready for the team sheet next week or probably the week after.

to be fair it’s embarrassing that Celtic get below 50,000 at games on any day when they’ve got supporters in every town in Scotland. I guess it just shows the majority of their fan base couldn’t find Celtic Park on a map.

Didn't realise McGlynn was a physio. If you want to be pedantic if Varian isn't back next week then physio wasn't far off their initial estimation.

This is absolutely spot on. You'll get £32,500 for being on live tv.

Jesus - how much money are they willing to chuck at getting out of the Championship?! Killie will be in trouble if they don’t go back up this season from what they’re spending you’d think?

Aye, well it's not much concern to us, I guess.

You are spot on, we’re utterly out of the race, especially with the way we’re playing. HeHo there’s always next season.  Kilmarnock have the money unfortunately, we don’t.
