Only listened to the BBC commentary but sounds like a draw was a fair result over the 90 with us better in the first half and Livi the second. Draw leaves us in a good position, hopefully get the job done on Saturday.

Still very early doors and I don’t like to read much into this tournament but definitely positives to take with the commentators impressed by Riley-Snow who should only get better with fitness and minutes under his belt. Another clean sheet for Berra and Bene as well. Musonda, Lang, Matthews, Fotheringham (probably), Keatings and Poplatnik still to add to the squad too.

Pretty sure the first year of the group stages we went into our last game at home to Alloa on the back of a draw away to Premier League opposition knowing a win would see us progress. Let’s hope history doesn’t repeat itself…

Also the year we got relegated.

His tackle in the second half was like watching a train hit a truck at a level crossing, the man went down, he strolled up the park no fucks given.

Concerning to see him playing so well that others will immediately notice, since he’s only on through December. Let’s extend him now, if he’ll sign…yes, that’s insane.

He's 6 foot fucking 2, how much bigger do you want him?

Good shift from the Rovers, edged the first half and not much between the sides in the second - diamond shape was effective early on. Looked really comfortable against a premiership outfit, but understandably settled for a point towards the end, quite the save from MacDonald in there too. Blaise put in some recent decent touches at the base of the diamond and our centre back pairing were both composed and quality again. Only downside was that we were a tad blunt in attack, however same will be said for Livi - strong performance against decent opposition overall.

Aye not long back. We dominated in large spells and looked comfortable without really testing their goalkeeper. I’m sure that sounds familiar to fans who couldn’t make it tonight but have seen us in earlier games…Livi had the better of the chances in terms of actual shots on goal, with MacDonald in particular making a great double save in the second half.

Penalties ultimately a lottery, but to have a game left and still top the group having not conceded a goal in 90 minutes is pretty good going, considering our usual efforts in the League Cup. Big game against Alloa to come. Anything less than 3-0 for Livi Will see us top the group still with a draw.

Good first half performance with a decent bit of creativity running the channels at both sides. Defensively solid but very little up front to right home about. With exception of Snow, the rest of the midfield and forward line are midgets. If we get closed down from playing out at the back we have no plan B. The ball is lumped up and returned straight to the opposition. We need a lamp post up front who can hold it up and play it on. Did we not have that last season and let him go.
Final balls into the box were putrid at times with not a shot on target on 90 minutes.

Am I right in thinking that if we top the group we are ‘seeded’ for the last 16?

Not necessarily.

The five teams who are in Europe will be seeded along with the three group winners with the highest points / best goal difference.

St Mirren, Dundee and Dundee United can all reach twelve points, we can only reach ten.

A draw with Alloa and a penalty defeat would do the job unless Livi beat Cowdenbeath by three, or indeed Cowden beat Livi.

A penalty victory or a win in 90 mins would win the group.

What can possibly go wrong?
