“Raith Rovers are trying to sign Aaron Taylor-Sinclair.

John McGlynn wants the freed Livingston defender at Starks Park next season.

The 30-year-old is considering an offer from the Starks Park outfit.
McGlynn led his side into the Championship play-offs and is looking to build again.

He has already signed Christophe Berra, Dario Zanatta, Tom Lang and James Keatings on pre-contracts.

McGlynn now wants Taylor-Sinclair, who has had spells at Motherwell, Partick Thistle and Livi.”

So the question is, is this a replacement for McDonald then, signalling that he isn’t going to be going full time? Or is this more of a case of trying to have a couple of options to play at left back considering the past couple of seasons we have had a wee issue in cover in that position a few times

Hopefully it’s a signing that allows K Mac to stay part time and there’ll be competition/backup for the position.

I don’t think we’d want anybody staying part time given this affects when the rest of the team can train etc. I’m pretty sure this a sign he’s offski to be honest.

Could also be a sign that Musonda isn’t being re-sighed. Frankie moving on would be a CB and backup RB/LB down. With McKay back, we’d just need cover at LB even if KMac stays, because Dave can play CB and RB and Armstrong isn’t signed (backup LB coverage).

They have been very clear there is no role for a part time player next year. As Enigma notes, may be a sign of KMac’s departure. The disappointing note would be that we would likely release him and gain no compensation as I don’t see any part time team being able to pay for a player after this year.

You would hink, Lewis Stevenson would be at the Rovers if KMac left.

I’d like to see more players go and play a season for their hometown club or club they supported as a kid at the end of their career bit like Adam has done (I know someone is coughing up for his wages) how good would it be for smaller clubs if a big name player who’s made their money came and played a season for them to help sell a few shirts and season tickets. Someone like Paul Scholes playing for Oldham or Darren Fletcher playing for one of the Edinburgh clubs.

With our strong league position and attractive style of play, we will definitely be able to persuade more players than we normally would to join the club. Of course it is all down to money, but as has already been mentioned we are in quite a strong position financially than we probably have been for years.

Could Turner be one of the players that McCall was talking about the other day that Patrick were struggling to compete with contract wise with us? 306D7467-3B77-48CE-BD32-EFF33D7EE781.thumb.png.10468b304f8a3069d12a6ff063006c49.png

Can see it being ATS given he was a former player for us when we got promotion to the premier league and knows the likes of Archie, coupled with sections of our fan base desperate for us to sign him again

What’s happening with Davo and his SFA charge for discriminatory language?

Think him and Toderov are both up on the 26th
