Shows that McGlynn and Paul Smith are held in high regard as coaches and developers of young talent. Definitely, another positive to the massively improved playing style implemented by McGlynn second time around. I was a big fan of him first time around, he did a great job. R.R.FC Posted February 3, 2021 Share Posted February 3, 2021 Great news on Ross Matthews. I can’t remember us dishing out a 3 year deal to anyone over the age of 21 for a very long time. Good to see us planning ahead. Crazy to think before the play offs in McGlynn’s first season back a lot of us wouldn’t have been too fussed to see him go. All credit to him for kicking on from then and becoming a key player. He has been superb this season. Hopefully a few more tied down soon.
