Strange amount of attacking players on our books just now, you'd expect Gullan will start as will Kai Kennedy so would expect Dan to drop out. Exciting times at the mighty, imagine we'll be looking to just score more than the opponents.

I don't think Armstrong should drop out, he's been fantastic this season. Gullane is basically our Ross replacement.

Same thing happens every January. Our squad seems to grow a fair bit.

It's a good coincendence that we released that retro top as the mid 90s were probably the last time we had such as exciting teams as the current one. Ok, we don't have a dalziel or Brewster type poacher, but still....

Interesting to read on the website that Rangers actually approached us to offer Kennedy on loan. Shows that McGlynn and Paul Smith are held in high regard as coaches and developers of young talent. I’d imagine most teams in the league would have taken him on if given the chance so excellent we were the side approached as the best place for his development.

Kennedy said in his interview that we were a side he was keen to join based on the two games he played against us so he might have been asked where he fancied/didn't fancy playing and put our name forward.

Definitely, another positive to the massively improved playing style implemented by McGlynn second time around. I was a big fan of him first time around, he did a great job. But it is highly unlikely a promising tricky young winger would have watched a McGlynn mark 1 side and then been keen to be a part of it!

Great news on Ross Matthews. I can’t remember us dishing out a 3 year deal to anyone over the age of 21 for a very long time. Good to see us planning ahead.

Crazy to think before the play offs in McGlynn’s first season back a lot of us wouldn’t have been too fussed to see him go. All credit to him for kicking on from then and becoming a key player. He has been superb this season.

Hopefully a few more tied down soon. Thinking particularly of Armstrong, Hendry or Musonda but not overly optimistic they will stay.

Great result at the weekend guys!

We covered the game (and the signing of T[a]mmy Abraham) on this week’s episode of The Auchterarder Chippy - the Scottish Football Podcast in association with Pie and Bovril!

Come for the Raith game, stay for the discussion of Maltese football!

Thanks Niall, glad you enjoyed it! We’re trying to take a bit more of a lighthearted look at the game while still paying it the respect it deserves - out every Tuesday if you want to listen again!
