We were unlikely to be offering Anderson a two year deal when we could be in the Championship next season, fair play to him for getting that at Forfar.

What we saw yesterday was players who were happy to take a 1 year deal, potentially playing in League 1 next season.  That's the harsh reality of this situation, until it's resolved.

Completely agree, SAndo wanted certainty and two years. It wasn’t the money so much as the security, and Hearts ensured we couldn’t offer the security either.

in fairness, McGurn is a coach who just happens to have his registration as a player.

Also, we tend to go through keepers at a fair old pace.

Excellent signing IMO. One I hoped we’d make given he was available and McGlynn worked with him at Hearts but thought he’d have better offers.

Hopefully settles down a few of the worriers from yesterday that we would be going with the same defence/keeper. MacDonald in to replace Munro. I’d imagine we’ll still have a centre half to replace Anderson and a right back to replace Miller at some point too.

Good start to our summer business.

Exactly this. McGurn signing mainly as a coach but registered to play means loans aren’t needed to fill the sticks. Happy with McDonald signing, looking forward to who else we recruit.
